Markus was established in 1989 and is independent, privately owned with the directors having a hands-on approach to the business, providing a personalised service and business relationship.
We are based at Wincanton, Somerset and moved to our current, purpose built 30,000sq ft site in 2003
BRC issue 5 grade A accredited, and Soil Association approved, providing a fully traceable service
We can deliver to all of UK, Eire & parts of Europe via our selected logistics partners.

As a key supplier to convenience food producers for retail and foodservice we offer a flexible processing capability through multiple lines each with an ability to produce large volumes; a producer of national scale and response.
Butter base options available typically include - UK Butter, Farmhouse, Somerset, West Country, Cornish, Jersey, Low Fat, Reduced Fat and Organic butter.
Products individually quick frozen through cryogenic freezers, ensuring retention of optimum product texture & taste.
Clean label ingredients, and ingredients with provenance are available.
Still able to offer 250kg minimum order quantities, with the flexibility help new launches.
Production trials can be arranged for test marketing of products etc. - minimum trial quantity 50kgs, prompt turn around, typically 7 days or less.
Packaging options: 1Kg, 4Kg,12.5Kg lined boxes - or as required by customer.
Portion sizes: from 1.5 g upwards, shapes to suit, or can be developed as bespoke.
Sachet sizes: from 5g to 2Kg. Can apply logos etc to sachet pack.
